Greetings 🙋‍♂,

Hello there, I’m Phil. I previously worked about 15 years in technical support roles for Electronics. From that, I have gained a lot of manufacturing experience over a broad range of companies; spanning from small contract manufacturers to large fully automated facilities. I have performed various tasks such as BGA rework, X-ray inspection, manufacturing test debugging and repair, failure analysis, and customer support.

I am currently a software developer as a profession and have been for a few years now. It has been something that I pursued as an aside but never believed I could make a career out of it. It was not an easy journey to get here, but it feels great to have a job that aligns with my desire to design and create solutions to solve problems.

My articles here are expansions of my internal notes and findings. I also post items that are outside the topic of software development.
